Sugary foods can cause a spike in the production of pimple-causing hormones. But there is a way to keep your skin happy and still enjoy something sweet. Here is the recipe for one of my favourite healthy treats.  

BANANA BREAD

Sugar free, Dairy free

 

 INGREDIENTS

3 large over ripe Bananas
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
1/4 cup Rice or Almond Milk
1 1/2 cups GF Self Raising Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder

 

METHOD

Pre-heat oven to 160º (fan forced). Mash bananas in a bowl until runny. Add milk, eggs, vanilla essence and combine. In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Combine all ingredients gently and pour into a greased loaf tin. Bake for 45 mins or until golden brown. 

Enjoy with yoghurt and blueberries!
