THE PERFECT FACE CLOTH FOR PROBLEM SKIN
You asked, we delivered, it's here...
We are bursting with excitement about the arrival of our brand new real-u Face Cloth, it's a beauty essential and the perfect addition to your real-u 3-Step Program.
HOW DOES THE FACE CLOTH FIT INTO THE 3-STEP PROGRAM?
Our face cloth is an essential process in our cleansing step. Using a face cloth to remove your cleanser in small circular movements provides a small amount of daily exfoliation, which helps stabilise problem skin to avoid breakouts.
“I know it sounds simple, but trust me! It works a treat and it saves you so much wasted money.” - Ebony, Founder real-u skincare
Stabilising problem skin is one of the keys in being able to clear and control breakouts.
THE COMMON MISTAKE
People prone to breakouts or oily skin often instinctively reach for harsh exfoliants and stripping cleansers at the very first sign of trouble. However, using stripping cleansers, harsh exfoliants, peels and drying masks can cause your skin to become unstable, as your skin continually tries to over compensate by replacing the skin natural oils that have been stripped away - putting your skin in ‘rebound mode’. You need to break the rebound cycle and stabilise your skin!
HOW TO USE CORRECTLY
Before use, rinse with warm water to get rid of any lingering laundry detergents. Wring out your face cloth thoroughly and rest on a clean surface; it should only be damp - not wet.
Use your face cloth in small circular movements to thoroughly remove cleanser from your skin. This circular motion also guarantees a gentle exfoliation daily. If your skin is still sore and in ‘healing mode’ - be very gentle with your face cloth.
If you need to double cleanse to remove makeup, don’t forget to thoroughly rinse your face cloth in between.
Use a fresh clean face cloth every time you cleanse - morning and night.
After use, wash your face cloth in a 60-degree wash to kill bacteria and dry promptly.
If left unwashed, you are better to place your face cloth in an area where it will dry prior to washing – you don’t want your face cloth to develop bacteria by staying damp for a number of days before washing.
